Steve Pridgeon B. Sc. (Hons.)
graduated from
Liverpool University, England.
He worked as a pharmaceutical representative for seven years before
becoming a
freelance medical writer in 2001. This experience has given him a
unique perspective when writing for a physician audience. Since then,
he has been involved with many
clients in a wide variety of projects, including copy-writing,
regulatory
writing, needs assessments, CME, audiovisual scripting, website writing
and
editing, medical intelligence and conference reporting. Areas of
strength
include oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, Alzheimer’s disease and
infectious
diseases, including HIV.
Steve
has maintained an active interest in ecology, wildlife biology and
related subjects. He has written many articles for nature magazines on
subjects ranging from black widow spiders to roadrunners. He has also
undertaken writing projects in forestry, agriculture basic biomedical
research, and other scientific disciplines.
